Stimulus checks for grandchildren
My granddaughters did not receive any stimulus money, they are 19 and 25 19 year old works but laid off now 25 year old goes to college but works in summer their parents claim them on taxes but they didn’t receive any money for them. Why didn’t they receive something thank you

Because NO payment is given for anyone over 17 who is declared as a dependent on another person’s return. That’s happened to many families who of course didn’t realize the stimulus program would be happening!
