Stimulus Payment

I still have not received my stimulus payment. I have logged on to the IRS site several times and talked with someone after many hours of waiting. Somehow they said my 73 yr old husband owed child support to children he didn’t have. The people I spoke with assured me it was a mistake that they were taking care of and I should receive payment sometime at the end of summer. On the IRS site it initially said that we were approved May 15, 2020.
Now when I go on the get my stimulus website it says that the information I put in is not valid and the SSN number doesn’t exist. I did receive my SS deposit today so my number must exist.
Where do I go from here.
