Stimulus Payment
Terry: My wife and I filed a 2018 return making a payment directly from our bank account but have not received a stimulus payment as of 4/28. Do you think the IRS is intending to send a paper check at a later date? Our preparer suggested waiting until 7/15 for 2019 return.

Just because you PAID from your account does not mean the IRS has that info to deposit your stimulus payment! In fact, it will likely go to you in the form of a check in the mail to the address on your return. I hope you will get it far before that date, most likely early June. Anything earlier will be anice surprise so keep checking the mailbox.
