Stimulus payment rejected by bank
We advanced our son his $1200 stimulus money and had that payment directed to our bank account. (I do his taxes, and the IRS has our account information. ) The IRS Get Your Payment site states that his payment was deposited in our account on April 15. I called our bank to inquire, and was told the payment was rejected because his name is not on our account. What can we/our son do to rectify this?

Nothing. Now they will review thqt “bounce” and send his check by mail to the address on his return — but it could take longer, maybe until June.
