Stimulus qualifications
I had a high-paying union job prior to getting injured off the job in May 2020. I did not get a stimulus check the first time and since I am not making any money this year I how do I get the second stimulus go round. I don’t believe it should be how your taxes were last year in 2019 because a lot of things happened between then and now such as a disability

Both stimulus checks can be based on your 2020 income. So if you were below the income limits of $75,000 single return of $150,000 joint return, when you file your 2020 return you can apply for a credit for both checks! Details coming in my next column.
