Stock Investing for College students.

I just finished high school and will be attending college next year.
I always wanted to make money on the side and read about the stock market mainly Trading and investing.
Since I don’t have a lot of time in my hands due to my education i decided to try investing.

I was hoping you could give a clear view to investing.
As in where should i start, what should I invest in, where should I invest, for how long?
