Student Unemployment

My Daughter attends an out of state university and does not work during the school year. She does have a job that she works at during breaks and all summer long. She has had this position for several years now and relies on that money to pay for portions of schooling. Her employer has temporarily shut down and part time workers have gone on unemployment. Should she file for unemployment since she cannot return to her job this summer? I am not sure if she qualifies since it is only a seasonal position for her. Thank You!
