T-Bill ETF (BIL) Monthly Dividends?
Hoping for some yield on some cash I had in the bank, I purchased some BIL ETFs in my Schwab brokerage account in November. I received a December dividend but nothing for January. I thought they paid a monthly dividend.
Can you help me understand. Thank you, Terry! You are always so very helpful when I listen to you on WGN.

Honestly, I wasn’t even aware of this ETF! But they certainly have attracted a lot of money — especially the Bloomberg SPDR 1-3 month Tbill ETF.

Personally, I always want to buy short-term T-bills directly from the government, staggering maturities. I’m not sure this dividend from BIL is excluded from state income taxes.
