Thx for the article. Yesterday I opened a Treasury direct account and placed a significantly $$ order for today’s date. Oct 3 which was confirmed. I note my bank account has not had money withdrawn for the purchase. How long before a confirmed order is processed? Many thx. P

When the auction takes place on Monday, they will withdraw the money — but leave you with the interest — up front! Look on Monday night and you’ll see!
