Tax refund
My electronically filed 2019 tax return was accepted 3/28/2020. They said I would have my direct deposit refund in 2-3 weeks. They then said I would have it by 4/21. Now it is 6/21 and still nothing. What is going on?

The IRS is a mess right now — still calling people back, over its head in stimulus payments, etc. Still no excuse for not making a direct deposit refund. They obviously know and have your return. Patience is my only answer since you can’t get through by phone. If it helps, you’re not alone!
