Tax refund 2020
My son’s 2020 tax refund seems to be MIA. Someone told me it might be because on his return we did not reduce his refund by any Stimulus $ he received. Thus the IRS is reworking his return.
Terry Says
That’s not correct. Previous stimulus payments did not have to be reported. If you made an error and reported them, the IRS will be reviewing the return. I assume you filed his return in April, 2021. The IRS is still working on those returns, and refunds. So be patient. He will receive interest from last April at 3% on his refund when it comes.
