Ask Terry Questions Taxes and Stimulus

Taxes and Stimulus

By Terry Savage on February 15, 2021 | Wild Card

Hi Terry, I’ve reached out to you before. I received $224 instead of $1200 on the first stimulus, nothing on the second. I heard you briefly on WGN last night but not the first part of your discussion. It seemed like you were telling people to file taxes now to make sure to receive next stimulus. I have not received my refund from last year. Can I still file taxes for this year if I have not heard back from the IRS? I tried calling on Monday and was put on call back list but never received a call back and they only allow my name in the system once. Sorry to keep bothering you, but you are the one person who seems to know everything! Thank you!
