How many votes to their senate needs to pass the fairness act they had won. Now they’re gonna have another. I really don’t understand can you possibly explain it to me

The House passed the bill. A Senate COMMITTEE “passed” it on to the FULL Senate to vote — IF they have time before they head off to holiday break — and if they have time after they figure out how to pass a budget bill that will keep the government running!
BUT, there is no certainty that the full Senate will pass the bill. It will be costly — and many REublican senators will not vote for it without other reforms to SS, such as raising the retirement age or raising the cap on taxable income for SS.
