Ask Terry Questions Thrift Savings Plan

Thrift Savings Plan

By Terry Savage on August 20, 2019 | Financial Planning / Retirement

I have $100,00.00 in my TSP account, 60% in the 2050 and 40% in the S fund. I withdraw
$800.00 per month. Should I continue my plan and hope for the best?

Terry Says

“Hoping for the best” is not a good way to plan your finances.  I don’t know your age, other income, etc so I am going to suggest you contact a good FIDUCIARY financial planner.  Search for one at — because these are all fee-only, fiduciaries (who put your interests first and disclose all costs).  It will be worth it to make sure you are on the right track.   Please take my advice and just set up a first meeting (which should be free) to see how important this is!
