Transferring Money from a foreign bank to a bank in the United States.
How do we go about getting money out of a foreign bank account to a bank here in the United States in a lump sum. We have been trying to get some money out and have had little success.

Unless there are political restrictions, you need to set up an international wire transfer to your U.S. bank. If you give them all the foreign banking information, they could help you initiate the transaction. Remember, there will be a charge for the currency conversion and bank fees, as well. Ask about them before initiating the transfer.
