Ask Terry Questions Treasury Account Balance

Treasury Account Balance

By Terry Savage on February 20, 2026 | Chicken Money

When I click on Investor Info, and scroll down to tax info 1099 there is no income in 2025. I cant seem to find the market value anywhere. How do I find the balance? Everywhere I look it has zeros. I had a small income in 2024-$69. Not sure what happened in 2025. The balance should be $2,500 or so. Thanks.

Wait, you need to learn your way around TreasuryDirect.com.
You will find your 1099 in your InvestorInbox.

If you own Ibonds, there will be no income shown. It is not taxable until you cash those bonds in down the road.
If you own Treasury bills, any interest you earned in 2025 will be on that 1099 in your inbox.

Look again!
