Trump Accounts
I read your article in today’s Tribune re: Trump accounts for children. It says these accounts can be open for child under 18 and/or born between 2025 and Dec 31 2028? Two of my grandchildren are ages 13 and 15 (under 18) but clearly born before 2025. Can accounts be open for them?

Yes, they can have a Trump account — but they won’t get the free $1,000 contribution that is made for younger children. It’s still a good idea. Follow the instructions in the column.
