Trust Filing as an Estate under Sec. 645
My 97 year old father just passed away. I am the successor trustee for his trust and will be applying for a EIN/TIN for the trust. Do I answer “yes” to Trust Filing as an Estate under IRS Section 645?

I would think so, but I’m not an expert on that. Thank goodness he had a Revocable Living Trust. I think you should ask the attorney who drew it up!
