I am receiving unemployment 351 as a w2 person. I am also a realtor probably making 20 thousand. I have been a realtor for 35 years can I make money when I’m a realtor and collect unemployment as a w2 person too. I have always had a main job as a employee. I have always been a big fan

Every two weeks when you go online to certify (which under law must be truthful) you must list your earnings — all of your earnings. If your income from real estate puts you above the limits then you won’t receive benefits for that time period. It would help if you are getting several commission checks to have them paid at one time — so you are only over the limit for that particular certification period.
