Unemployment
My daughter lived in Michigan until this past fall. In May she applied for unemployment. She has called numerous times and they’ve told her that she was approved and that the payment was pending. When asked when she would be receiving her unemployment disbursement they give the same answer they don’t know when she will get it but that she will get it eventually. Today she still has not received anything what can she do? Thank you

Did she apply for unemployment in Michigan or Illinois? Either way, she should report it to the “fraud” department of the unemployment bureau. That should get her some attention –and in fact, it just might be that the money was taken fraudulently in some way!
