Unemployment
I received a letter from Illinois unemployment department to my address. I do not know the person the letter is addressed to. Do I need to be concerned about fraud? Is it ok for me to open the letter? Thank you

If it’s not addressed to you, don’t open it. Put it in your bottom drawer. Suddenly the fraudsters are just using random addresses to open accounts to receive benefits.
But do read this article, check your own credit report for unexpected entries, and while you’re at it, freeze your own credit.
