Unemployment and investment
Hello . I was off work on medical all of 2019 . Went back to work late February was laid off because cv19. I didn’t receive state. Will I be eligible for federal benefits ? Also I have $10.000 to invest from medical issue . Could use some advice . Thank you.

Well, I don’t have good news for you. Were you on unemployment when you were off for medical reasons in 2019 — or were you paid by your employer? Or did you have disability insurance?
If you did not work in 2019, you won’t be able to demonstrate income to qualify for unemployment.
I would keep your savings safely in the bank because it looks like you will need that money to live on until you can get back to work!
