unemployment benefits
I applied for unemployment , was sent a letter asking for a photo copy of my Driver’s license and my Social Security card. By the time I received the letter I had two days for the information to be received by IDES so I faxed it. I received the “Key” debit card so I thought all was good. It seems I was supposed to “certify”, which I did not understand and apparently missed my certification. I have been trying to contact IDES to correct the issue but have not been able to get through. I have tried calling multiple times, and tried the online process, both to no avail. Help!

I have received so many emails and posts regarding this same thing — so you are definitely not alone. And everyone is trying to get through to IDES. They are woefully understaffed in their call centers, receiving more than 1 million calls just last week!
All I can say is “keep trying” — I really wish I had a better answer.
