UNEMPLOYMENT CERTIFICATION – INABILITY
Hi Terry, huge fan. I am eligible to extend my unemployment for 13 weeks under PEUC. I was told via letter to certify on Tuesday for my benefit. When I attempt to certify on-line its states “you can not certify at this time” and says call 800 244-5631, which I cant get through on. Any advice?

I just sent a scathing letter to Thomas Chan, acting director of IDES — telling him to start ACTING like the director or resign and give up his paycheck! This has been an insane mess from the start — and it looks like it is getting worse, not better!
Believe me, I will keep pushing to get these things resolved.
