Unemployment Claim Fraud / Identity Theft Protection

By Terry Savage on December 27, 2020 | Wild Card

Hello Terry, Today my husband was notified that a claim was made for unemployment from the HR department where he works. I did all the things that you suggested on your website, plus, my husband also filed a police report in our village. I was wondering if getting an Identity Theft Protection plan was a needed since we already contacted all the recommended agencies?
Thank you for all the groundwork you did for us. I was in a panic until I remembered “Ask Terry” from listening to WGN radio. Happy Holidays,

Just watch the balances on your existing accounts carefully to make sure no one is using them. You are 100% protected against fraudulent use of your existing bank or credit or debit cards. So no need to purchase a costly service if your credit feeze makes it impossible for someone to open NEW credit in your name, or take out a loan.
