US Gov’t T-Bills
Are they a good investment for chicken money? i heard the Chinese own a large portion and they could cause big problems with this investment. Is this true? I am 79 and trying a find a safe investment for about $50,000. Thank you for your answer.

That is ridiculous! Foreign central banks own a LOT of US debt! That’s because our government overspends every year and has to borrow money. If they DIDNT buy our debt, we would have to offer higher interest rates to attract money to finance our debt.
