I read your articles in the Chi Tribune and appreciate your commentary.
What effect do the current government PPP handouts have on our economy?
In your opinion, how long will it take the US economy to recover when this pandemic is laid to rest?

Those are great questions and I wish I had the answers.
I think it may take the economy longer to recover than the stock market, because the stock market always looks ahead.
And I think some people/businesses will NEVER recover the momentum they had going into this situation — but then others will get a great boost as they are young, smart, and flexible enough to “start over” and take advantage of new opportunities!
I think one day we will”pay” for all this money creation and the national debt increase — but likely not in my lifetime!
