Using 401(k) Funds as a Bridge to Social Security

By Terry Savage on September 22, 2022 |

I recently read an article that talked about how more people are looking for a “bridge” to delay the start of Social Security payments – by using their 401(k) funds. What do you think about this idea?

Terry Says

I have been advising that for a long time! You get an additional 8% a year in base SS payment for every year you wait until age 70. In the meantime, use 40l(k) funds — or keep working!
