Using RMD for charity
I called the rep handling my 401k.
I was not able to redirect my RMD to my charity because it is only possible with an
I R A! Is that true ? My 401k won’t work?

Yes, only from an IRA. But isn’t it time you rolled over your old 40l(k) to an IRA — if only because you might want some more conservative investment choices?
