Victim of Unemployment fraud cant get her own benefits

By Terry Savage on February 07, 2021 | Wild Card

Hello Terry,
I was a victim of unemployment fraud back in November. I was recently laid off on January 8 and now need to file a legitimate claim however I cannot as Ides website says I have filed already. I have spoken to 7 Ides employees and keep getting transfered, hung up on or lied to. Last woman I spoke with on Feb 1 told me she would have a specialist delete the fraudulent account and said it would take 48 hours. Went to try filing today and still won’t let me. Why the lies? Is there any advice you can give me or do I Just have to play their phone tag game and get the right person that can help me? I would like to know if anyone else has complained about the situation I’m in and if they have had their issues resolved. Thanks for your time Terry and hope to hear from you soon. At my wits end!!

I copied and pasted your entire post with your name and email and sent it directly to Kristin Richards and Rebecca Cisco at IDES, and copied Jordan Abudayyeh — the governor’s assistant.
They have NOT been responding to me, but please do let me know if you hear from them by email.
