I believe that I heard you say that you were in Acapulco, Mexico recently. The state department advises against traveling there. I’ve been wanting to go there, but have been afraid to. How was your experience there and did you have any problems? Thanks

I had a great time, but I was with Mexican friends. I learned that Acapulco is now a weekend/vacation destination for those who live in Mexico city. Most Americans go to Cancun these days. In fact, they’ve dropped most non-stop flights from major U.S. cities to Acapulco, except for Houston.
