which is safer
I have some money in a checking a/c, is it safer to open a reg savings a/c the or leaving it in the checking? I use my debit card all the time. I have IRA but want to be able to get the money easy if I need it. I’m 75 years old, and not concern about the interest. Thank You

They are equally safe. Your money is insured up to $500,000 by the FDIC for all of your individual accounts in that bank.
