Who should I be listening to?
Hello, I was hoping you could help me get started on some Money 101 for a 40 something couple w 3 kids. My wife and I have an “advisor” for our retirement planning through work. Im in sales, she is in Education. Both very different retirement options, but we need some basic family financial planning / advice on everything from 401k – college, and basic budgeting. I would love a fiduciary in the northern suburbs of Chicago to contact – but don’t know where to start. Any recommendations?

First, May I modestly suggest you buy the new third edition of my book, The Savage Truth on Money. It is available on Amazon,and it’s aimed at you!
Then you will have the basic info to understand the suggestions of a planner, so you can search for one using the Wealthramp link on my site. But there’s a lot you can and should be doing yourselves first. And my book will take you through it step by step.
