Windfall

Hi Terry, I recently got a decent amount of money {70k} thru divorce proceedings. Right now I have it parked in a savings account but I know I need to do something with it but not really sure what. I’m in my mid 50s, fairly risk adverse, have about $300k in 401k and pension and currently am very underemployed. Any ideas what I should do with it? Thanks!

Well, I’m not so sure you need to be in a rush to “do something” with this money. For the moment leave it inthe bank –yes,, low-earning but safe.
What you need is a financial planner who is not trying to sell you something!
Find one at Wealthramp.com -and you can learn more about it at this link on my website.
Note: I get nothing out of this except the satisfaction that you wll be carefully matched with a FIDUCIARY, Fee-ONLY planner, who will go over everything from your retirement plans to long term care insurance to your investment needs.
