Your projection on stocks in 3rd and 4th quarters

I NEVER project stock prices –and especially in the near term! I’m a long-term investor and this much Iknow for sure:
There has never been a 20-year period (going back to 1926) where you would have lost money in a diversified portfolio of large-company stocks with dividends reinvested on a tax-free basis (inside a retirement plan, for example). And over every 20-year period the total return has beaten inflation!

This is from the Ibbotson market historians. And it keeps me invested in the appropriate proportion of my assets through ups and downs.
