I found your article on student loans to be of interest as I am paying on these for my son. I contacted Nelnet, who the loans are through, and they do not refinance at all. I then went onto the website of LendEdu, that you wrote about, and was immediately contacted. Should I be speaking to people who contact you immediately via text or filling our information online? I am a little nervous of identity theft. Please advise. Thank you.

Oh, you don't have to worry about that. LendEdu is a very legitimate source of refinancing comparisons. Or you can work directly with a loan refinancing company -- www.SOFI.com -- They are among the largest in this space.
