What is best to do to clean/restore your credit, bankrucpty or credit repair

Terry Says

There's not much you can do except use credit wisely in the future. Bad credit stays on your credit report for 7 years before it rolls off. (Bankruptcy will stay on your report for 10 years!) if you need a new credit card, try a "secured" card -- which is backed by a deposit at the issuing bank. It works like a regular Visa or MasterCard. You'll find them at www.Bankrate.com. Charge a small amount every month, and pay off the balance in full and on time. Your payment habits will be reported to the credit bureaus That's the best way to restore your credit. It is a slow process. Don't fall for scams advertising they can clean your credit!
