Mom is 95, legally blind, been paying premiums for years. Is it possible she will be taken off the denied status?
As long as your mother has kept paying premiums on her Long Term Care Insurance, if she qualifies as needing assistance in doing basic activities of daily living, she will be able to collect on this insurance. Perhaps the time is now, since most policies let you stop paying premiums once you start “collecting” on the benefits!
I suggest you contact either the original agent (whom you probably don’t remember after all these years) or the LTCi experts, Brian Gordon at MAGA LTC 800-533-6242. He will certainly take a look at your mother’s policy and set you on the right path.
