Hello Terry, I watched you this morning on WGN (8/28). You discussed this topic. I have someone who may benefit from this, but you spoke about the employees of a small business. What if you own your own small business and have no employees. Are you, the owner allowed to take advantage of this open enrollment?

No, sorry.  This is not for sole proprietorships — or even for corporations with only one employee!  Have you considered putting your spouse on the payroll?  Too late for this year — since the employee must be full-time on the payroll for at least a year,  but something you could try next year.
