Push off RMDs if you don’t need the cash?
A thought for your newsletter, if you think it makes sense:
I had my RMDs set up to distribute to me quarterly. With April approaching, it occurred to me that the RMD would be cashing out many more shares of my mutual funds and ETFs because prices are down so much. So I changed the next distribution to December. There’s some hope the stock market may be doing better by then, or maybe that new CARE legislation will allow me to defer it further without penalty? Thanks for all you do, Terry!

I’m waiting for the final notes on specifics of the program, and will post a summary later today. BUT, it appears that RMDs might be actually eliminated for this year! If so, I will make a headline out of it!!
