my son interned at a tattoo shop all last year so he made no money. about a month before the stay at home order and business closures he was promoted and started making money. because he just started he had not gotten a 1099 yet from his employer. ides refused his unployment because it showed him as not having a job or making money. calling help line is impossible to get through.

Yes, I think they reviewed your son’s situation and he did not have proof of income — because he didn’t have either a job or income. So he doesn’t qualify. Things are opening up. He will be able to start earning a living soon.
