Sons stimulus
Dear Terry thank you for answering my question about the stimulus for me. My son who is 45 did not have to file 2018 taxes. He did file 2019 taxes and paid Federal taxes of $538.00. When checking about his stimulus check he gets a message of unable to determine eligibility. Is there something he can do to find out why? Thank you again for your help! Cindy

If he filed in 2018 and IS NOT A DEPENDENT on your return, or anyone elses, he will receive a check in the mail to the address on the 2018 return. Be patient. It will likely come in May.
