Stimulus SSDI Representative Payee.
Hi, everyone who receives Social Security is going to be receiving it on the 13th. The SSA says that the IRS has no idea when they will start processing the people who have a Representative Payee. Should they use the Non-Filers Tool or continue waiting? If do use the Non-Filers Tool should they put in the Payee’s account or a different bank account under their name? The Non-Filers Tool is supposed to be removed this week. I know you have contact to the IRS spokesperson so hopefully they could shine some light on this. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

The non-filer tool will be up until fall. BUT, if your child receives benefits monthly to an account on which you are the payee, you should wait and expect a payment to arrive in June. They are just beginning to get around to Social Security recipients’ stimulus payments!
