Stimulus
Hi Terry and Good morning I have a question that I hope you can help me with. I lost my husband to suicide 4 years ago, my 3 children and I receive survivors benefits. I filled through turbo tax to receive the stimulus on April 11th and on April 29th I received the $1200 into my bank account but I have yet to receive the $500 for my children. I’ve heard that I should be getting a check in the mail but idk what’s going on and I could really use the money. Do you have any information about this or what I should do?

Whew — sorry for your situation. There has been a lot of mess with kids benefits. In fact if they get survivor’s benefits, they just might get their checks in the same place they get those benefits. Please wait until mid-June– yes, a long time away — and write back if you haven’t received them. The SS and SSDI benefits are just going out now, and maybe survivors will be in that group.
