Stimulus money returned to IRS for deceased

I received by direct deposit to my bank stimulus money for both my husband and myself.Being that my husband passed away 12/2019 I knew at the time that’s not right. So naturally I searched all over for answers got different responses so finally I found info online where to mail my personal back to IRS. I did but been waiting for it to clear the bank and it hasn’t . It’s been since May but I just would like to make sure they received it at least,there’s no way to do that.I am afraid that if they send out the second one I won’t get any because they might withhold it even Tho I returned it. What can I do? Every number I call of course refers you to website but those numbers only give you a recording. Tya
