I also received an IDES debit card from KeyBank!
I cancelled the debit card. Told KeyBank it was fraud. Checked my credit bureaus and saw a “soft inquiry” from IDES on July 9 2020. Put a fraud alert on all of them. Tried to get a hold of the Illinois Attorney General Identity Theft hotline, but you can’t leave a message because their mailbox is full. I also sent an email fraud report to IDES from their website (they have a “fraud” button that brings up a form”.
Now today I just got a “green dot” debit card in the mail. Not sure if it is related.
UGH…. Is there anything else I can do?

You’ve done all the right things. But look for the links in the top column on my website and freeze your credit report at all three bureaus. And the Green Dot card must be part of the fraud. Keep all the info, in case you get a 1099 next January declaring you owe taxes on all this income!
