69, Live on SS ; very good in Retail-NEED TO WK TO SURVIVE-.Retail allows fewest emp to Wk 40 hrs (FT); Keep majority at PT: thus NO UNEMPLOYMENT & even when STORES out of biz. Open jobs require physical abilities many of us don’t have

That income to LIVE ;cannot live on SS—-

Yes, millions of seniors depend almost entirely on Social Security for their existence — and some part-time work to supplement. If you earned at least $1600 last year, and $440 in your “second-best” quarter, then you CAN apply for unemployment — and if you had done so earlier, you would have received an additional $600/week in Federal benefits. There may be another round of federal benefits, so if you meet that criteria, please do apply for unemployment.
