Immediately call 800-388-2227 — which will connect you to the nearest office of the National Foundation for Credit Counseling. You can trust them and you can do it over the phone. You will probably want to enter their debt repayment program — where they negotiate with your creditors to lower your rate and accept a lower monthly payment. Then you send them one monthly check and they parcel it out to your creditors.

This is much better than those debt consolidation companies who take big fees. It has worked for hundreds of thousands of people in debt — and there are no fees, or very small fees to get set up.
Please write back when you are out of debt!! (Then keep paying that same monthly amount into an IRA so you will get ahead of the curve!)
