Each state has applied to be part of the program. If you live in Illinois the state was just approved. BUT it will take a while to get their computers organized to do that. (They are still messed up on the original unemployment benefits!!) And there was only enough money to make this $400 payment for a few weeks.
What you really want to watch for is a new Stimulus Bill passed by Congress — if they ever get around to it!
