IDES for Seasonal Worker
Hello, Thank you for this chance to ask questions.
Two part question. I am a seasonal worker and have been for many years. I have unemployment benefits in the winter months. I work for an irrigation contractor, summer months, March to November.
I have an account for IDES, when I get lay off this November, will I go thru the troubles that many people that are first timers are going through? And secondly, would I qualify for any additional benefit that has been on the news?
For me my normal benefit is ok, but might I qualify for the additional?

I can’t promise that you won’t have a problem signing in again — but give it a try. But there will be no extra money for you. this current $300/week extra will run out shortly. And unless Congress passes another stimulus bill, you’ll just get the regular amount, providing you qualify based on earnings.
